With the Ukraine War and Economic Uncertainty, CEOs Are Prioritizing Key Governance Topics

A mid-year survey conducted by The Conference Board of 750 CEOs and other C-suite executives finds that the combination of the war in Ukraine, supply chain shortages, inflation, and the prospect of recession are moving key “G” topics – risk management and cybersecurity – to the head of the line for CEOs. At the same time, about a quarter of CEOs are looking to prioritize “E” topics such as renewable energy and “S” topics, including supply chain responsibility.
