Consumer Trends...Why People Shop Online

Location, location, location may be the mantra of the real estate industry, but, when it comes to online retail, it seems to be mostly about price. A Consumer Internet Barometer survey of 10,000 households revealed that bargains are what drive the largest percentage of online purchases. Among online consumers who made a purchase in the last quarter of 2003, the greatest number did so because they found a better deal online than in a store.
