THE ISSUE BEING ADDRESSED In 1997, Endeavor was founded on the unfailing belief that providing essential support for high-impact entrepreneurs in emerging growth markets could change the course of economic development. The goal was—and remains—not to do this alone but to create a powerful network of board members, mentors, and high-impact entrepreneurs who would share this vision and make it their own.
Over the past two decades, Endeavor has truly fulfilled this goal, becoming an organization “of, by, and for” entrepreneurs, that operates in 30 countries across the world today, and counting. Powered by a global network, Endeavor provides 1,600 entrepreneurs with the support they need to scale up. Endeavor Entrepreneurs have created 700,000 jobs, generating $10 billion in revenue each year.
We’re proud of these metrics of success. But as Endeavor’s 20th anniversary approached in 2017, we strove to find a unique way to tell the story of the organization’s growth and impact beyond numbers.
Endeavor’s story is one of many voices. We wanted to show the power of this network and movement cultivated over the past 20 years.
