Military developments: Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov said that Ukraine expects a major offensive around the one-year anniversary of the invasion on February 24 involving several hundred thousand troops. The UK Ministry of Defence noted that there has been “some of the most intense shelling of the conflict” along the Dnipro River, including the city of Kherson, and Russia also attacked around Bakhmut. President Zelensky called the situation on the frontline “extremely acute,” particularly in Donetsk.
