The outlook for the first half of the year remains strong, but there are early signs that the economy will moderate during the second half of 2018. Business sentiment data indicate a peak in the expansion may be within reach. The key role the export sector played during the second half of 2017 provides both opportunity and risk to the Euro Area economy.
