Euro Area growth momentum remains positive, but pressure to change the course of monetary policy increases

The Leading Economic Index for the Eurozone points at continuation of an already lengthy expansionary phase in the business cycle. The improvements in the economy are visible not only through surveys, but also in the real economy, in the unemployment figures. Changes in monetary policy can be expected in 2017 as inflation returns.
