Last week’s statement by the Acting SEC Chair that she has directed the staff to review companies’ climate-related disclosures and to update the agency's 2010 guidance is part of the Biden Administration’s effort to leverage all parts of the government to address climate change, announced in the President’s January 27th Executive Order.
