Resources for Navigating the Minefield of Corporate Political Activity

The combination of external “shocks to the system” from January 2021 through today, along with unrelenting scrutiny from employees, the press, senior management, the board, and investors, has made corporate political activity fraught with risk.

We thought you would appreciate this Special ESG Alert, discussing selected insights and highlighting some of the key resources available to you as an ESG Center member. In addition to these offerings, we are planning a special Chatham House Rule Roundtable discussion in early August on The Future of Corporate Political Activity, which will look at what the next three to five years hold for the environment for corporate political activity, PACs, corporate contributions, lobbying and taking positions on social issues.
