Inclusion + Innovation: Leveraging Diversity of Thought to Generate Business Growth - CHRO Strategic Implications

January 28, 2016 | Report

Innovation is a challenge. Can diversity and inclusion make it easier? New research indicates that inclusion and innovation are indeed correlated, and that diversity of thought, specifically, contributes to better innovation. Chief human resources officers are at the nexus of inclusion and innovation, and should therefore take specific actions to create an inclusive culture that leads to greater diversity of thought. This report features interviews with experts and in-depth case studies from AT&T, Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics (SGPPL), DBS (formerly the Development Bank of Singapore), and Kaiser Permanente.
