Global Consumer Confidence for the Gulf Region Q2 2021

July 15, 2021 | Report

The Conference Board® Consumer Confidence Index® for the Gulf region remained among the highest globally in 2021 Q2, second only to North America. Promising economic recoveries in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates helped drive consumer confidence to record highs in Q2, and increased divergence among the economies of the Gulf region. All three pillars of confidence improved. Confidence in personal finances was the highest, among nationals and expats, followed by job prospects.
