For instance, over half of CEOs globally say they expect elevated pricing pressures to last another 18 months or beyond. In fact, Inflation has jumped to the second-highest external threat to business. At the same time, Less than 40 percent of CEOs believe their organization is “well prepared” for an inflation-related crisis Many CEOs are running organizations whose workforce, including their C-suite executives, has likely never experienced inflation’s broad influence on every aspect of their business.
Every year for the last 23 years, The Conference Board has been conducting an anonymous survey of CEOs and C-Suite executives. In the latest survey we got insights from over 1600 business leaders including over 900 CEOs from around the world. Our report offers insights for what’s ahead into challenges shared by many of their peer organizations. It’s a great conversation starter for executive teams.
