Window On: Trade Wars - The Next Level

A panel of experts will address the assortment of current and future trade policies, plus what it means for governments, businesses, and ultimately, consumers.

July 28, 2021 12:00 PM ET [12:00] (New York)

Trade wars are once again emerging as a major risk to the global economy and business operations. Existing tactics include tariffs, sanctions, and restrictions on foreign investment. However, the next level of trade wars will include more obstacles for firms to navigate through. The newest realm of trade wars may expand into perpetual travel bans that limit free movement of people and labor, and industrial policies that result in major reorientation of global supply chains and government investments in targeted industries. A panel of experts will address the assortment of current and future trade policies, plus what it means for governments, businesses, and ultimately, consumers.

As an attendee of this webcast, you will:

  • Understand why governments engage in trade wars.
  • Learn the tactics used by policymakers to address frictions around international trade.
  • Uncover the economic implications of trade disputes between economies.
  • Discover the next frontier of trade wars and how it might affect businesses and consumers.

Who should attend: C-Suite executives and their reports; policymakers; researchers.
