Who can you trust to truly understand your challenges?

I was looking to recraft the “how to win” strategies for my team. Conversations with members, experts, authors, and entrepreneurs helped me to recast the strategy. The network also helps to build skills. Webcasts led to contacts that we tapped for stepping up creativity for a select group of colleagues in my organisation. Overall it has been an enriching experience.  

The Council has expanded not only my networking possibilities but also my recognition of the value of learning from a variety of diverse organizations. The quality of external guest speakers has proven to be captivating and enlightening. It truly offers an excellent platform for exchanging our collective knowledge within a secure and nurturing space. Overall, participating in communities like this has contributed significantly to my professional growth and development.  

The Council serves as an immeasurably useful source of information, experience, ideas and tools that I can tap into. The quality of input from my peers is high and the responsiveness of the staff of The Conference Board is quick and reliable. This is a tremendous resource I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone in a position similar to mine.  

I find great value in Council meetings. Their in-house experts and invited speakers from cross-industrial sectors are very knowledgeable, sharing their insights, research outcomes, and proven practices as well as the emerging trends. We also have opportunities to join other Council meetings to get updates from different geographies. The Council serves as a great platform for learning, sharing, benchmarking, and collaboration.  

Being on the Council has been a valuable and interesting experience for me. Chatham House rules apply, so we’ve had some very honest conversations and best practice sharing. The regular whitepapers and business updates have been very useful to understand perspectives on our world.  

I have found The Council an extremely useful resource and forum as I am able to dip into the broad and diverse experience of my fellow members. The meeting agendas are decided by us and are therefore very pertinent. The discussions are meaningful and practical. The facilitation is top quality with experienced people leading the same. On top of this, the wide-ranging resources and material on the website are a big bonus.  

As a member of the Council, I get access to a global community as well as local connections. The member-led agenda enables us to focus on what is top of mind in a disruptive environment and the peer-to-peer interaction allows me to incorporate the outside in views when making strategic choices on where and how we prioritize our people investment.  

The Conference Board is a great platform for exchanging experiences and thoughts. Open and honest dialogues among members lead to positive and meaningful change. The sharing from external speakers also helps members to evolve better. Really enjoy the opportunities to meet with peers, friends and professionals.  

It is great to be able to exchange ideas, problems, and opportunities with fellow professionals from different industries and geographies. The discussions combine theory behind certain topics as well as real-life examples and insightful stories of the members. This helps a lot when you are on a journey of change in your role and can learn from others who are on a similar journey or have been there already.  

The Council is a very high-quality intellectual platform that provides great timely services, updates, and analysis; a platform to have active and diverse exchanges of views, and a sphere to broaden and deepen knowledge beyond one’s own industry that we might otherwise neglect. The Conference Board has a great variety of subject-specific programs and vast offerings of webcasts, analysis, and reports. My company and I benefited a lot from these.  

Today we all need a supporting system and also be part of a supporting system to thrive in a more challenging and dynamic environment. Thanks to The Conference Board for setting up such a great forum that enables us to build broader networking, connection, and partnership across different industries and companies and support each other with deep insight into hot subjects, outside-in perspectives as well as pragmatic experiences and practices.

Council discussions are held in an environment with transparency, trust, and respect under Chatham House rules where diverse members across industries and regions/ markets share their wealth of experiences. The Program Director steered the topics to be future-focused but pragmatic in today’s context. The talent, business, and economic insights are widely applicable to business and HR Leaders.  

The true value of The Conference Board is the diversity of views and experience from practitioners across different industries and geographies that members can tap on. As the agenda at Council meetings are members-led, this makes the exchange of shared challenges very relevant and meaningful. I have enjoyed the open sharing and exchange of experiences among the members.
