The US philanthropic landscape is transforming as new generations of individual donors seek greater control and impact, and workforce giving programs expand. This Giving Thoughts article describes how donor advised funds (DAFs) can democratize personal giving in and beyond the workplace, at a time when concerted philanthropic effort is needed to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
