Measure of CEO Confidence Gulf Region 2021 H1

The Conference Board Measure of CEO Confidence™ for the Gulf Region increased by 33 percent in H1-2021 from its H2-2020 level indicating a major rebound in business confidence. Moreover, Gulf CEOs’ confidence in the six months ahead increased by 40 percent compared to six months ago. The main drivers of this optimism were opening of markets resulting from deployment of successful vaccination campaigns and the recent increase in oil prices.
