Positioning the Business for Growth

July 20, 2022 | Brief

What do firms plan to do to weather the coming global slowdown and position themselves for growth? In our mid-year C-Suite outlook survey, we asked 750 CEOs globally for their plans on growing the business over the next two to three years (see C-Suite Outlook 2022: C-Suite View of Volatility, War, Risks, and Growth for Global Business). CEOs say they are investing in digital transformation, developing new lines of business, upskilling and retraining existing employees, strengthening the corporate culture, and increasing productivity in their hybrid work models.

Indeed, digital transformation has been a common theme among firms to improve their business prospects since the start of the pandemic. (See C-Suite Outlook 2022: Reset and Reimagine.)

The insights from our mid-2020 report, Realizing the Full Potential of Digital Transformation, are still relevant today. This report highlights three strategies and five practices to help business leaders overcome the chasm between new digital technologies and how organizations can extract tangible business value from them.  A meaningful resource in the bumpy road of digital transformation to business model innovation.
