In June 2002, The Conference Board convened a 12-member Commission on Public Trust and Private Enterprise to address the causes of declining public and investor trust in companies, their leaders, and America’s capital markets. This report details the Commission's final recommendations for executive compensation, corporate governance, and accounting and audit practices.
