While the global economy is slowing particularly in 2023, emerging markets and developing economies are expected to continue to grow at around 3.5 percent in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Nonetheless, activity is also decelerating in a number of emerging economies, particularly China, Brazil and Egypt. Others, in particular India are seeing continued momentum.
