While the global economy slows, particularly in 2023, emerging markets and developing economies are expected to continue to grow at around 3.5 percent in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Nonetheless, activity will be mixed across emerging economies. In 2023, some economies will rebound (China), some will severely slow (Latin America, Egypt), and others will only slow moderately (India).
