Metrics for Innovation Leaders: Using Metrics to Drive Better Outcomes
April 17, 2019 | Report
CEOs see not having an innovation measurement framework as an important obstacle to future innovation. But how exactly do you measure innovation?
The Signposts of Innovation framework provides businesses with a starting point for measuring both financial metrics, such as revenues, profit, and ROI, and nonfinancial ones, such as corporate reputation and ability to attract talent. This report fills in the complete framework with several new “intangible” or qualitative metrics. Businesses can choose from the extensive lists only the metrics that are most applicable to their own operations—flexibility, customization, and simplification are essential.
