Future Occupational Labor Shortages Risk Index

March 25, 2022 | Report

Our Future Occupational Labor Shortages Risk Index allows organizations to see which occupations are at the highest risk of shortages—variations that any corporate strategy should include and model to determine exposure. The Index ranks 504 occupations in the coming decade. Factors such as the rate of employment growth; number of retirements; number of new entrants; educational, training, and experience requirements; automation potential; and degree of flexibility in the geographical location of the work are factored into to the Index to determine whether an occupation is at a high, medium, or low relative risk of labor shortages.
