Every year, for the last 23 years, The Conference Board has conducted an anonymous survey of CEOs and C-suite executives around the globe. The Conference Board® C-Suite Outlook offers insights into the external and internal stress points that many businesses share and how they will affect the strategies and tactics CEOs set to compete in the global marketplace. This year, rising inflation, labor shortages, supply chain disruptions, and changing consumer behaviors are the high-impact events on the minds of CEOs. Each is directly tied to the pandemic, yet each also threatens to take on a life of its own.
To adjust, CEOs will look to digital transformation, business model innovations, a values-based corporate culture, shaping consumer behaviors, and innovative human capital management—all of which will require the work of the marketing and communications teams.
This report takes a closer look at what the 2022 CEO agenda will mean for marketing and communications.
