Global Consumer Confidence 2021 Q1

Global consumer confidence achieved a record level in 2021 Q 1 as economies continued to gradually emerge from the pandemic induced downturn. Brighter perceptions of personal finances, along with declining COVID 19 infections, greater vaccine production and distribution, some loosening of restrictions, and continued monetary and fiscal policy accommodation appeared to support household balance sheets and spur spending.
