Almost six months in, the unprecedented shock from the COVID-19 pandemic is beginning to leave its mark on the global economy. This COVID-19 edition of StraightTalk® argues that some of the recent changes in how we work, consume, and produce will ultimately go back to what they were before the pandemic. But other trends, such as virtual work and the shift to online consumption, will be accelerated by the crisis and may improve productivity growth.
