US salary increase budgets for 2016 have a median increase of 3.00 percent, the same percentage as the previous six years. Projections for 2017 are also 3.00 percent. The 3.00 percent median total salary increase budget for 2017 for each group (i.e., nonexempt hourly, nonexempt salaried, exempt, and executive) is the same across all employment categories and equal to actual 2016 increases.
