April 07, 2023 | Report

Lianghui), this year’s meetings were especially consequential because: Xi Jinping secured a third term as President of the People’s Republic of China; the NPC approved a reshuffle of top government positions and a significant reorganization of government functions; and it provided insights into China’s top economic objectives, attitudes towards the private sector, and geopolitical priorities.
