What Sustainability Features Sway Consumers Purchase Decisions?

In this one-hour event exclusively for Members of the Marketing & Communications and ESG Centers at The Conference Board, we will share hot-off-the-press data from a survey jointly done by The Conference Board in collaboration with The Harris Poll on consumers’ attitudes about sustainability topics. We will also discuss with senior industry experts how to successfully market sustainable products – which is easier said than done.

We’ll review and discuss:

  • what US consumers associate with sustainable products and what features influence consumers’ buying decisions
  • according to US consumers, what kinds of industry sectors are making a positive impact on sustainability and how much more sustainability work there is to do
  • how companies successfully market sustainable products
  • how companies can benefit in terms of financial outcomes as well as talent recruitment and retention by making their corporate sustainability programs part of their companies’ business strategy.

Please note that we won’t record this event since we are holding it under the Chatham House Rule to encourage a candid discussion—participants may use their learnings from the meeting but they may not identify any individual or company revealing the information.
