Last year, the Trustee-only event convened leading voices from the policy and business communities for briefings on issues at the forefront of the national and global agenda to offer insights on navigating economic and geopolitical challenges ahead, as well as to discuss the impact of the mid-term elections on the policy agenda.

Summers, former US Secretary of the Treasury and President Emeritus of Harvard University, for a briefing on The Economic Outlook and Its Impact on Fiscal Policy; Matthew Harrington, Global President & COO, Edelman, CED Trustees; Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, Senior Associate Dean for Leadership Studies, Yale University; and Alan Murray, CEO, Fortune Media on The Changing Role of Business Leadership in Society; Ambassador Kenneth I. Juster, US Ambassador to the Republic of India (2017-2021) on The Shifting Global Order: India’s Role; and Mark Penn, pollster, political strategist, and Chairman & CEO of Stagwell on Understanding the Mid-Term Elections and Their Impact on Policy. The final session of the summit included a Trustee-only roundtable discussion on Navigating the Economic Storm.
