There is no region in the world that isn’t affected by climate change, poverty, or other societal challenge in some way. Today, the world faces the largest number of people living in refugee camps since World War II and millions still lack access to clean water, suffer from hunger, and don’t have adequate health services. The United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals aim to address such challenges, and they have a better chance at being achieved when governments, the private sector, and social service sectors/non-governmental organizations work together to address them.
