The Role of Business in Society: A European Perspective on Achieving a Sustainable and Inclusive Transformation

Conversations on stakeholder capitalism are no longer new to the boardroom. Over the last two years, both business and investors have endorsed the need to embrace a more holistic and inclusive approach, which involves considering the welfare of all stakeholders, including investors, employees, customers, business partners, local communities, and society at large. Sustainable business transformation is a long-term endeavor and can create measurable value for all stakeholders. Achieving transformations for a sustainable and inclusive world is not straightforward. Business leaders will have to manage interconnected, multiple priorities in a fast-changing world.
