Centene Corporation CEO Michael Neidorff, Discusses Quality Healthcare in a Pandemic Economy
Michael Neidorff, CEO of Centene Corporation, talks about the importance of quality healthcare during a time of social unrest.
In an interview with Dr. Lori Esposito Murray, President of the Committee for Economic Development at The Conference Board, Neidorff shares his thoughts on responsible activism from a healthcare lens.
"Unfortunately I don’t believe that this is the last pandemic that we will see in our lifetime, I think these things have a way of repeating themselves…I think we need to see the kind of leadership that says, “we’re going to shut the place down, and we’re not going to reopen too fast.” What I hope public authorities have come to learn is that you shut it down fast… and you support the people that need it in the environment.”
The CEO Forum series features CEOs from across American industry who focus on actionable insights to address underlying challenges of economic opportunity, childhood education, health care, workforce skills development, workplace equality and corporate governance.
