LinkedIn Dominates, Twitter Trends and Facebook Falls: The 2014 Inc. 500 and Social Media

This latest iteration of the annual study proves once again that social media has penetrated parts of the business world at a tremendous speed. It also indicates that corporate usage of social media within the Inc. 500 has changed in the past 12 months. For example, blogging declined among the 2014 Inc. 500 for the first time in eight years, and more than three-fourths of the 2014 Inc. 500 have made accommodations for mobile customers, including providing downloadable apps or optimizing websites for mobile.

This report was originally distributed by the Society for New Communications Research, which officially merged with The Conference Board in January 2016.
