The Conference Board ESG Center recently fielded a survey, conducted in-depth interviews with 20 firms, and held a Chatham House roundtable discussion involving 116 executives from 86 companies to discuss where sustainability sits and to whom it reports; how to build and manage an effective sustainability function; and how to drive collaboration across a firm.
