In this annual survey report, more workers reported satisfaction with their jobs than in previous years--marking the seventh year in a row of increased satisfaction. Improvement was especially strong in satisfaction with job security and wages, particularly for workers with household incomes below $75,000. Still, employers have room for improvement—especially in a tightening labor market—as satisfaction with promotion policies ranked at the bottom of job satisfaction components. This edition of the Job Satisfaction Survey includes detailed charts, plus tips for organizations facing recruitment and retention challenges and a look ahead to 2019.
