Through our “Women in Corporate Leadership” effort, CED encourages corporations to increase the number of women in C-Suite and in technology-related leadership roles. Research indicates that greater female representation in leadership roles improves economic opportunities and mobility for both women and our nation.

CED efforts include:

• Encouraging business leaders to broaden their talent pool through mentorships, sponsorships, and leadership training to include more qualified women
• Activating Business Champions to advocate for the increase of women in leadership
• Leveraging partnerships with national HR organizations to recruit women for leadership positions
• Distilling research to produce recommendations for businesses to increase women in leadership
• Creating a digital forum to highlight innovative practices and expand the national conversation of women in corporate leadership

CED FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM FOR MID-CAREER WOMEN
Advancing Women in Corporate Leadership

The CED Fellowship Program for Mid-Career Women Professionals is an innovative corporate mentoring, networking and leadership training program, designed to create pathways for mid-career women to the C-Suite. The objective of the CED Fellowship Program is to further CED's longstanding objectives to advance women in the workforce and help, in this initial way, to counter the devastating impact COVID has had on mid-career women and the C-suite pipeline.

1. Mentorship/Sponsorship: CED Trustees and Corporate Sponsors recruit a mid-career professional and mentor/sponsor the candidate during the program;
2. Networking: The mid-career women participants become CED Fellows to increase their networking opportunity with CED corporate leaders;
3. Leadership Training: CED conducts a Leadership Seminar Program, exclusively for the Fellows, with a curriculum that is a model for a successful path to the C-suite developed and hosted by CED Trustees and relevant leaders and experts.
