According to a recent report from The Conference Board, produced in collaboration with True Impact and E4E Relief, only half of corporate citizenship executives are satisfied with their citizenship and philanthropic reporting efforts. Moreover, 81% expect measuring and reporting on corporate citizenship and philanthropy to become more challenging over the next three to five years.
While few legal requirements and standardized reporting practices apply to corporate citizenship and philanthropy, the benefits of a firm measuring and reporting on their citizenship efforts are many, from bolstering the firm’s reputation among employees, consumers, and the broader public to helping demonstrate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the corporate citizenship function.
