Background
Companies are increasing their attention to (1) the ever- evolving list of ESG issues and (2) serving the long-term welfare of a broad range of stakeholders. These shifts have very practical implications for corporate boards, which have left some feeling overexposed and underprepared. This second session of this working group will focus on what, if any, changes companies may want to consider in board composition, capabilities, committee and other governance structures to best oversee ESG in an era of stakeholder capitalism.
