ESG Center Roundtables

Background

The Conference Board Environmental, Social and Governance Center (ESG) Roundtable discussions bring business leaders and others together for discussions on timely, strategic issues under the Chatham House Rule, generating actionable insights for participants and their organizations.

The upcoming ESG Roundtable on The Intersection of DEI and ESG (August 9, 2023, 3:00 – 5:00pm ET) will address how ESG and DEI intersect conceptually, organizationally, programmatically, and in terms of communications. This Roundtable is in collaboration with the Human Capital Center.

Key Topics

• The legal and regulatory landscape for ESG and DEI:  where they intersect

• How does DEI conceptually fit into ESG and vice versa

• Where are the current programmatic overlaps between ESG and DEI

• Who within the organization “owns” DEI and ESG

• What are effective ways of setting common priorities and collaborating effectively

• Where do DEI and ESG overlap in terms of reporting and communications

• What does the future look like for DEI and ESG
