Background

To help solve the current labor shortage, many Human Capital Center members are investing in talent marketplaces. These programs help enable internal talent mobility and workforce reskilling, alleviate pressure on external recruiting, and enhance employee engagement and retention. Join this roundtable series to explore with fellow members how to create a truly effective talent marketplace.

This three-session member-only roundtable series will be conducted under Chatham House Rule to ensure that members can speak freely and confidentially with one another. At each of the three sessions, participants will hear from subject matter experts, participate in breakout groups with their peers, and learn from member success stories. 

Session 1: Defining and Exploring Talent Marketplaces

• What is a talent marketplace, and what is driving interest in them?
• What are the benefits and drawbacks of a talent marketplace for different stakeholders, including candidates, employees, recruiters, managers, and leaders?
• How do you build a compelling business case to create a talent marketplace?

This three-part Roundtable series is intended for CHROs; Chief Talent Officers; Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Learning leaders and their direct reports.
